FMI is proud to introduce a new illustrator to the agency, Neil Price. Here, Neil tells us a little bit about himself and his work.
Hi, let me introduce myself, I’m Neil Price, I’m one of Frances’ new recruits! After graduating from University College Falmouth with an Illustration BA(hons) I became a freelance Illustrator, complete with fiancée and guinea pigs. Since then I have had the opportunity to work on some wonderful projects.
I am proud to be the cover illustrator for award winning author Mary Arrigan's ‘The Milo Adventures’ series for O’Brien Press. In these books Milo, his best friend Shane and their half ghostly friend Mr. Lewis go on epic adventures as they are let into secrets of history and have to save the future.
The first Picture Book that I illustrated is called ‘So What!’. This was with Digital Leaf Publishing and published earlier this year. The story focuses on a sweet, innocent girl who is escaping the troubles of school with her incredible imagination.
"A highly colourful, brilliantly illustrated book with a wonderfully told story.“ Books Monthly Children’s Review.

The second picture book I illustrated, written by Steve Smallman and published by QED Publishing, is a take on the old tale of the Gingerbread Man, except with a big twist. He will be racing through in October.
I am now looking forward to taking the next steps in my career with Frances McKay, my new agent. And I look forward to showing you more of my work in the future.
