Henning Lohlein shares some sample images from one of his latest German publications.
These are samples of a book called "The Conference of the Scary Ghosts", published by Arena in Germany. I always find it a pleasure to do some black and white illustrations in between the full colour picture books.
I found it very refreshing not having to think about colour, and the illustrations are often a bit looser than my painted colour illustrations. I think it is always good to change from one medium to aniother to keep the pictures as fresh as possible. More black and white work is always welcome!!
