Just as I am gluing the word “end” on the final page of “A Frisbee to Fly”, the latest of Secret Seed Society books, I was very excited to hear that they have been featured on the Guardian as the “buy of the day”!
Secret Seed Society was created in 2008 with the vision of producing a series of picture books promoting healthy eating and “growing your own” amongst young children. Each book comes with a packet of organic seeds, growing instructions and a recipe for you to cook a yummy dish…featuring the main character of the story!
Three years down the line I have now finished illustrating the fifth book for Secret Seed Society.
This new adventure sees Rio Rocket, together with his best friends Babs Beetroot and Albon Asparagus, on a mission to find the responsible for a series of thefts in Seed City…
