Feeling very festive, with two very excited children at home, in fact make that three as I also am like a big kid at Christmas! These images are for family Christmas cards, but were inspired by my work on Gilbert the Goose, (the picture book I am working on for North South Books.) To create this style I use an old stick dipped in ink, so called my “Inky Stick” style. I feel that these little reindeers have a story to tell, which may inspire a festive picture book!!! Can but hope.
Rudolf, the most important reindeer of all! Without him, then who would guide Santa’s sleigh?? Wishing all a very Happy Christmas, with love, Jill x
