What a mystery! We give birth to our stories - conceived in what impenetrable realms? - and they fly off into the world, a few hundred words, flapping black and white. If we are very very lucky some may return to us as full-grown books, in full-colour, to perch on many strangers' shelves! What a miracle! What gorgeous plumage!

The First Snowfall

 
Lilly was dressing up warm. It was the first day of the Christmas Holiday and Jack Frost had been about. He had left no footprints on the new carpet of snow that covered the ground. But each window pane had frosted to his touch, and the wind seemed keen to rush indoors; you can always tell when Jack Frost has been about.

After the success of the Christmas Rabbit (15 000 copies sold), the follow up story has just been published in Germany, "Wie Weihnachten beihnahe ausfiel", written by Adriana Dorsett, published by Hoffmann & Campe, Hamburg.

Fluffy Wuffy Norbert

This double page spread illustration shows Norbert, our fluffy hero, in my next Christmas Book "Wie Weihnachten beinahe ausfiel" (Turned Out Almost Like Christmas) written by Adriana Dorsett and published by Hoffmann & Campe in the autumn. Here he is very annoyed, because everyone just calls him fluffy wuffy, and everyone expects him to be good, when in reality he is the trouble maker. To find out more, you have to wait until publication day....
