The People's Book Prize 2011/12

Bee Willey's The Mouse who saved Egypt written by Karim Alrawi and published by Tradewind Books has been entered into the children's books section of  The People's Book Prize.

 

School for Princes, and the Mouse Who Saved Egypt

The Mouse who saved Egypt will be published by Tradewind Books in July 2011 in the US and Canada, September 2011 in the UK. Tradewind are small but publish interesting stuff and have a fab typographer!

School for Princes

 
Finally after nearly two years or is it three, I have finished School for Princes, by Jamila Gavin, to be published by Frances Lincoln. These are stories based on the Panchatantra, ancient texts of wisdom from India, involving animals. Here are two of the line drawings I have done for the animal tales included in the book.

The London Book Fair

Hello all! Just a brief look up and out to the world in the pre- Bologna head down frenzy to finish everything in time!!! Out of the woods soon for me too, and looking forward to going to The London Book Fair where I won a free pass and display of my work. Intrigued to find out who the other people were too!
